So today I wanted to write about Covid 19. I am at the end of recovering from this virus. It is now week 3 and I must say that I feel much better but still a bit weak and have some trouble sleeping the whole night.
I am a healthy person but I have never been this sick before in my life. This virus knocks you down. I was in bed for two weeks, no appetite, I did lose my sense of smell and taste. I had a cough and slight shortness of breath. My body was so achy and weak and I had a headache that would not go away. I would get in a hot, hot bath just to try and make the pain go away. When it was time to get out of the bath I felt like I was going to faint. I would hang my body over the tub and wait until I could move a bit. My chest got congested and it was painful at times to cough.
I know that if you are not in good health to begin with then you would definitely get very sick. I cannot stress enough how important it is to put your health first. That is what keeps you able to attack a virus and anything else that comes your way. It is so important to take your health and make it your number one priority.
What I took to help me get better:
Vitamin D – 3000 – 5000 mg per day
Vitamin C – 1000 mg every two hours up to 5000 mg per day (if you get diarrhea then drop your dose down by 1000 mg)
Quercetin – 500 mg every two hours with your vitamin C. I took a total of 1500 mg per day
N-Acetyl L Cysteine – 600 mg twice per day
Curcumin- twice per day
Zinc Acetate – suck on lozenges every 2 hours
I would lie down on my Spoonk (mat with approximately 600 acupressure points) this was a life saver.
Drink lots of water with lemon and ginger and honey, tea.
When you get your appetite back, eat as healthy as you can, its hard because you crave different foods but you have to get some nourishment in your body.
I am now back to taking my full regimen of vitamins and back to eating the way I did before I got sick which is no sugar or flour and well sourced meats and organic vegetables. Protein shakes and bulletproof coffee and lots of water. I attribute all of my vitamins and eating to my good health and recovery.
Make your health your number 1 priority, I cannot stress how important that is.
Let me help you make your health your #1 priority
